Biography
Wave Collective Records is an electronic music label from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, founded in 2008 by DJ and producer Frank García. The sound of the Atlantic crossing: afro, organic, tribal and deep house and melodic techno, at the point where Africa, Europe and America meet.
Born in 2008 as a vehicle for the music of Frank García (a Canary Islands DJ and producer with over twenty years behind the decks and releases on reference international house labels), Wave Collective grew into a multi-artist home with its own catalogue, pressed month after month and distributed independently. The label is organised in two currents: the warm one (afro, organic and tribal house) and the deep one (deep house and melodic techno), bound by a shared Atlantic sensibility. Its flagship series, AMAZONAS, draws the bridge between the three continents across twelve singles.
